Finding a new perspective…
See the work.
Find the difference.
Put open source in perspective. One matchup at a time.
A little context goes a long way.
Public evidence, not a score
Parallax compares visible GitHub work. Stars show interest, not code quality. These numbers never measure a developer’s ability or their private work.
Repositories & languages
Stars and forks received are summed across loaded original repositories. Forked repositories are excluded from those totals. Language distribution counts each original repository’s primary language, not lines of code.
A recent activity window
GitHub exposes up to 300 public events from the last 30 days, with a possible delay. Events are not commits or annual contributions. Each profile’s loaded coverage is shown.
Your browser, your requests
